Technology in Schools Alliance (TiSA)

Supporting teachers and students to build digital skill capabilities and develop digital mindsets essential for living, learning and working in a digital age.

This collaborative initiative encourages advocates from schools, TAFE and universities to work together with the shared aim to prepare students for work as new and emerging technologies continue to change many jobs. TiSA members recognise the transformative potential of technology in education and the future of work. By empowering teachers to develop the digital skill capabilities and digital mindset necessary to embrace technology, we aim to cultivate a culture of continuous learning and adaptation for students.

We are committed to supporting teachers to develop their digital skill capabilities as they endeavour to integrate a range of technologies into their pedagogical practices. We do this by sharing resources, and providing training opportunities that demonstrate the effective and purposeful use of technologies in the classroom.

We are committed to supporting students to develop digital literacies and skills that equip them for learning and work in the future. We do this by offering a range of STEM, robotics and coding challenges where students are able to develop their digital skills and gain confidence in problem-solving, creativity and computational thinking.
